NFL Legend Marshawn Lynch Caught Smoking Weed on Set of College Gameday

ESPN's College Gameday landed in the University of Cal on October 5th for the first time, ever as the Bears got set to take on the University of Miami Hurricanes. As usual, the set of College Gameday was star-studded. And Super Bowl Champion and Cal alumni Marshawn Lynch was in the house.

Marshawn Lynch Lights Up Joint on College Gameday

One fan who was in attendance for College Gameday caught the former Seahawks running back smoking what appeared to be a marijuana joint behind the set of the show.

Of course, fans went wild with their reactions.

"Any Marshawn Lynch content means I'm tuning in get your popcorn ready," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"These a******s know he doesn't like being the center of media attention but that jackoff right down there in his face with that big gorilla d*** camera," a disgruntled fan added.

Other fans noted that Lynch's smoking before returning to the set had an impact on his analysis during the show.

"It was terrible. He was too baked to even give a decent thought," another fan noted.

Nick Saban Gets Honest With Seahawks Running Back

Lynch did provide some pretty good content during the show. Particularly between him and legendary Alabama football coach Nick Saban.

For those tardy to the party, Lynch and the Seahawks had an opportunity to repeat as Super Bowl champions in 2015 but did not because of a crucial decision made by then-head coach Peter Carroll.

The Seahawks had the ball at the goal line in the 4th quarter with a chance to win. Despite Lynch being one of the best running backs in the NFL at the time, Carroll decided to have starting quarterback Russell Wilson throw the ball on the goal line. Wilson's pass was intercepted by Patriots quarterback Malcolm Butler, essentially ending the game.

Saban said he thought that Lynch should have been given the ball in that situation.

"Marshawn, we may disagree on our pick today. But I'm telling you man. 4th and 1 in the Super Bowl at the one, I'm giving your a** the ball! You are getting the ball! Right here!" Saban said.
