We officially have an update regarding Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor, who was arrested and charged with a driving under the influence over the weekend. Taylor reportedly left the scene of an accident and was subsequently arrested, according to 247Sports. On Monday, head coach Nick Saban released a statement regarding the arrests, which included a punishment for Taylor, which includes an indefinite suspension.

The suspension, however long it may last, will hurt the Tide heading into Fall Camp — Taylor was a starter at right guard last season, but was challenged by Saban this offseason to lose weight to regain his start at first string.
