In an interview with Scout, Salyer added Florida to the group of teams currently at the top of his recruitment.
"I'm just looking to get around to some more schools," said the 6-foot-4, 342-pound Salyer. "The main schools for me right now are Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, Stanford, Florida and Notre Dame.
"I can see them more as a contender now," said Salyer to Rivals last week when he added Notre Dame in his list following a visit. "I just got more time with the players and coaches. It was definitely different this time.
Salyer is ranked as one of the top players of the 2018 class. 247Sports has him as the No. 9 overall recruit, and the No. 1 offensive guard for the class. 247Sports currently has Georgia as the current favorite for Salyer, followed by Clemson.
