It looks like former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder may have found his next full-time job.
VanGorder was fired by Notre Dame after a 1-3 start last season, and he was eventually brought on by Georgia at the end of the season as a defensive analyst. However, VanGorder was not retained by the Bulldogs, and it now looks like he has found a new position for the 2017 season, as the Tulsa World is reporting that VanGorder is expected to join Oklahoma State's staff.
VanGorder had spent two-plus seasons at Notre Dame before being fired last year. His stint at Georgia was his second with the school, and he has also spent time with Auburn, Georgia Southern, South Carolina, and the Atlanta Falcons, among others.
VanGorder was replaced at Notre Dame by former Wake Forest defensive coordinator Mike Elko.
