It's great when teams try out new uniforms, but this might be a good case where a team should just stick with the more classic look.
Notre Dame tweeted out a video on Thursday, showing off a new set of uniforms for this year's Shamrock Series game against Army. Here is what they look like:
Puke green and gold? Yeah, not exactly the greatest looking color scheme in the world.

There is something redeeming about these: the attention to detail is fantastic. Both the shoulders and the helmet have detailed illustrations that look great, particularly on the helmet.
Of course, it's a shame the color scheme on the jerseys ruins the whole look, because the helmets are truly awesome. Maybe they can keep the helmets for the future and try again with another looks, because this one just doesn't work at all.
