The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Oregon Ducks to claim the 2014 National Championship, and everything is cooking for Urban Meyer and company in Columbus. However, that didn't stop Ohio State from keeping their sometimes petty rivalry with Michigan alive in a unique way.
Meyer, or at least a prominent individual in the OSU program, refused to include Michigan's name as part of Ohio State's schedule on its National Championship trophy. Instead of simply etching the eight letters need to form Michigan's name, the Buckeyes went with "TUN", which is short for "Team Up North" in something of an homage to how many OSU supporters refer to the Wolverines.
This is relatively harmless, but something tells me that Michigan won't see it that way. Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh will be battling for years to come, and things like this are just the beginning.
