One AP voter has a surprise team in his Top 4

Really now?

There are quite a few writers out there who release their AP ballots ahead of the poll itself and ESPN's Brett McMurphy is one of them. He usually has a ballot that looks similar to the end result, but this week's is pretty curious.

Texas A&M as his No. 4? That seems like a pretty bold prediction and voting style. Even with an impressive 45-24 win over Arkansas, the Aggies haven't quite proven themselves as a real contender yet. The rest makes sense with Louisville at the top after a 59-28 drubbing of Marshall and Alabama beating yet another non-conference opponent in Kent State 48-0. Maybe Wisconsin or Stanford would make more sense at the fourth spot, but it's still early in the season so pretty much anything goes at this point.
