Picking up a commitment from one solid offensive lineman is always a good day. But getting two? That is cause for celebration.
That is how UCLA should be feeling right now, as the Bruins picked up three-star offensive linemen Kanan Ray (6-foot-4, 275 pounds, Chatsworth CA) and Will Farrar (6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Richmond, TX) on Friday. Their commitments are not related, but both just happened to announce their intentions to play at UCLA.
While Ray and Farrar are only three-star recruits at 247Sports, they are both rated in the Top 15 at their position by the same service. UCLA has finished in the Top 20 in recruiting in every season since 2012, and grabbing two players like Ray and Farrar will only bolster the depth of their 2017 class.
