Oregon backup quarterback to transfer

Oregon is making a living out of transfer quarterbacks. The Ducks got nine wins out of Eastern Washington transfer Vernon Adams this season, and they hope that Montana State quarterback Dakota Prukop will be able to come in an do the same thing.

However, sometimes living on the transfer market can come back to bit you.

Oregon backup quarterback Morgan Mahalak has reportedly asked and received his release from the program, allowing Mahalak to transfer from the program.

Mahalak is a dual-threat quarterback, and was a four-star recruit of the 2014 class. Mahalak never entered a game for the Ducks, and will likely be eligible for multiple years for whichever school he transfers to.
