Oregon turned a blocked punt and near safety into a first down

If you are TCU, you were already getting blown out 28-0 in the Alamo Bowl when you thought you had caught a break. Backed up against their own goal line, Oregon was forced to punt. Not only did the Horned Frogs bring some heat on the punt, but one of their players actually got a hand on it.

Unfortunately for TCU, the deflected punt went straight to an Oregon player, who was able to run the ball for a first down. Oregon was able to keep the drive alive, but TCU did eventually force another punt. Of course, Oregon got the ball back almost immediately and they tacked on a field goal to make it 31-0 before half.
