We've been waiting for the upsets, and Saturday officially brought them for college football!

After No. 2 Clemson and No. 9 Auburn lost earlier in the day, No. 4 Washington joined the upset party as No. 20 USC was able to pull off a 26-13 win in Seattle.
USC was powered by quarterback Sam Darnold, who threw for 287 yards in the victory. The young quarterback has been largely responsible for USC's six-straight wins, even though the Trojans didn't get over 500 yards like they had in the previous five.
We also saw a strong performance from the Trojan defense, which held Washington to under one yard per carry. The Huskies were averaging six yards per attempt prior to the game.
For Washington, they may now need a miracle to get into the College Football Playoff. Yes, it's only one loss, but they were already getting flak for their weak schedule to this point, and now Washington State is the leader in the Pac-12 North division. Washington now has to beat the Cougars just to get into the Pac-12 title game.
