Edmonds took to Instagram on Sunday, December 3 to announce that her and Sanders had mutually decided to end their relationship. Based off of the caption that Edmonds provided, the two have parted ways amicably and hope to remain friends despite their breakup.
"To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love...We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we've shared together. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH! ????", the caption read.
Sanders and Edmonds began dating back in 2013, and announced their engagement in 2019. The two met during a movie premiere, and had been together for over a decade while both pursuing their careers and navigating the struggles of a long-distance relationship at various times.
Edmonds had previously been engaged to comedian and actor Eddie Murphy and has two sons from a previous marriage with the musician Babyface. An extremely successful TV producer, executive, and CEO of Edmonds Entertainment Group, Edmonds has an estimated net worth of more than $60 million.
