Deion Sanders Brings Retired Superstar Quarterback to Boulder for Visit

The Well Off Media YouTube channel published yet another video following the happenings with Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, and this time, he had a special guest on campus—FOX analyst and former NFL quarterback Michael Vick.

The video starts with Vick making a New York Jets joke while talking to Buffaloes coach Dennis Thurman.

"Still look like you can still run around a little bit," Thurman said.

Vick responded with, "I can play for the Jets."

After this brief exchange, Vick heads into Coach Prime's office. Throughout the video, you see them chatting in the office, overlooking Folsom Field, and on opposite couches in what looks like a possible profile piece, but we're unsure.

Sanders' desk and the collection of books stuck out during this exchange. He had a copy of "The Little Engine That Could."

The two then talk about Vick's role at FOX and discuss Sanders' time at quarterback in his youth and Vick when he played quarterback in the NFL.

Vick was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Falcons.

"And that's why so many people had love for you because, see, you weren't just a black quarterback... they went crazy cos that's what they wanted, somebody that they could relate to, talk like they talk..." Sanders said.

"They embrace any brother that come there and win," Sanders said as Vick listened.

Following this, Vick asks about Sanders' end with the Falcons. Vick thought he was traded, but Sanders reported otherwise.

"I was so young and naive at the time I didn't know no better," Sanders started. "So I was hurt. Because, see, they never offered me a deal, I'm a free agent."

"They figured, we ain't gonna win, why hold him back," Coach Prime said about the Falcons ownership group at the time.

The visit then wraps up with the two overlooking Folsom Field. Sanders gives Vick some insight into what the stadium looks like and mentions the mountain range in the background and how it looks with snow topping it.

Finally, we see Vick sitting on a couch across from Sanders and Shedeur Sanders, Deion's son and the starting quarterback for the Buffaloes. However, this is a brief moment before we cut to a side angle of a Coach Prime press conference.
