If the name "Iamaleava" sounds familiar, it's because Madden is the younger brother of Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Nico Iamaleava.
His brother Nico made his first-ever college football start in the team's bowl game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, completing 12 of 19 passes for 151 yards, one touchdown, and adding three rushing touchdowns.
The Buffaloes hope to get a player with similar promise in his young brother Madden.
Iamaleava, a 4-star 2025 quarterback prospect, has received roughly 15 offers from Power Five programs, according to On3. 247Sports has him as the 11th-best quarterback in his recruiting class.
On3 adds that the 6'3" 185-pound signal-caller has received offers from TCU, SMU, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami, Pittsburgh, and more.
Madden took to Instagram to announce the offer, saying, "After a great phone call with Coach Pat and Coach Nate, I'm blessed to receive an offer to The University of Colorado! #skobuffs."
Thus far, Iamaleava has visited Tennessee, where his brother plays, SMU and TCU. However, that'll be heating up as more visits for the 2025 class happen.
His brother Nico was On3's No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 class, and Madden is prepared for his process after watching his brothers.
"It helps me a lot, definitely," Madden said to On3's Chad Simmons. "I definitely know what I want and what to expect from all these colleges and what certain colleges would want from me to see if I become their top priority. Seeing it all be laid out for Nico, I really got the key. It's definitely a head start, opposed to other kids."
During Nico's visits, Madden said he was more "laid-back" watching how coaches treated the elder Iamaleava.
"I'm definitely looking forward to it," Madden said of his recruitment. "Watching Nico's whole process, everything he went through, all the chaos and everything, I definitely feel like it's gonna be the same thing for me. I know what to expect."
