"We kind of got into it once we came [presumably to Colorado," Deion Sanders said. "Wow, Shedeur look this is—you'll be in the NFL next year. I said no he ain't."
"I didn't say you. I said we got to play some next year. I said both of us," Shilo said.
"Why you say we?" the elder Sanders responded.
Later in the conversation, Coach Prime says, "What you trying to say? You ain't going nowhere," as the camera pans to Shedeur who's laughing with his hand over his face.
Shedeur has been excellent this season for the Buffaloes, completing 78.1 percent of his passes for 1,250 yards, 10 touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and just one interception.
Before coming to Colorado, he was with his dad at Jackson State. In the season before heading to Colorado, he completed 70.6 percent of his passes for 3,743 yards, 40 passing touchdowns, and six interceptions.
His brother, Shilo, has 19 solo tackles and one interception and has allowed 11 receptions on 14 targets this season. He started his college career at South Carolina before moving to Jackson State. He played just eight games in 2022 with Jackson State, recording one interception and five total tackles.
Both Sanders brothers are draft eligible come 2024, and if they, especially Shedeur, continue their success this season, they could be highly-coveted prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Shedeur and Shilo will be tested in Week 4 of the college football season as they head out on the road to take on the Oregon Ducks and quarterback Bo Nix as multi-touchdown underdogs.
