On camera, the redshirt junior right tackle did "The Shedeur," a known celebration that the quarterback has in which he shows his wrist. In the past, Sanders has been seen to have a valuable and expensive watch when doing it, but McLaughlin, though watch-less, made sure to use his celebration against him.
The Cardinal, who won 46-43 in double overtime, trailed 29-0 at halftime. Stanford quarterback Ashton Daniels finished the game, completing 27 of 45 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 39 rushing yards on 16 carries.
In the second half, Stanford outscored the Buffaloes 36-7. In the second overtime, Sanders threw an interception, leading to Stanford sealing the win.
Sanders finished the game with 33 completions for 400 yards, five touchdowns, and that interception. His leading receiver was Travis Hunter, who caught 13 balls for 140 yards and two scores.

Some fans had their own opinion on McLaughlin's troll job.
"At least wear a watch while you do it [crying emoji]," one user said.
Maybe we can get back to celebrating good sportsmanship soon?

"Maybe we can get back to celebrating good sportsmanship soon?" someone else added.
Predictable. this is the kind of disrespect that Colorado is making popular. It will permeate throughout college football. Gone are the days when coaches talked about building character as well as winning. Making fine young men out of the players that come to them.
