Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is looking to leave his mark and become a legend in college football, and he's already receiving praise from a player who is perhaps on the Mt. Rushmore of the sport in former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow.

Blown away by Sanders' performance and helping lead the Buffaloes to a 2-0 record, former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow has nothing but good things to say about the No. 18 ranked team in the country.

"I love it, but I also love it because he's doing it his way," Tebow said to On3. "And I love it because he's doing it with such passion and love and belief and build up of young men. I think that's something that sometimes gets missed. I look at what he says to them, look at the way he's able to believe and then pour into them.
"You know, I think if you were to talk to a lot of his players, they believe they can do more and accomplish more after they've been around him than before. That's a sign of a good coach. That's a sign of building confidence. That's a sign of encouragement, of real encouragement. And I love that."
The Buffaloes faced some adversity against Nebraska in Week 2 before pulling ahead in the second half. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders finished with 393 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and added another touchdown on the ground.

"I love that he talks about being ready for the moment," Tebow said. "He doesn't shy away from it. And I love that and I think his players feed off of that. I think you will continue to see more players be intrigued by the way he's doing it because I think there's a lot of players that want to have pressure on them, but they also want to be encouraged and inspired in the moment and that's what Prime is doing.
"Look at the way they handled, not just the first and second down, look at the way his team plays on third and fourth down, redzone, second half, the moments when you could either rise to the occasion or shrink under pressure. And man they rise to the occasion. I think that's a really good sign of a team playing inspired and fearless."
The Buffaloes will look to improve to 3-0 and continue to impress Tebow in Week 3 as they host Colorado State. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Colorado is a 23.5-point favorite.
