With news of Travis Hunter's crushing injury — one that was caused by a late hit from Colorado State's Henry Blackburn and will force him to miss three weeks thanks to a lacerated liver — Colorado will be without its star two-way player against No. 10 Oregon, No. 5 USC and Arizona State.
Fans collectively held their breath when Hunter was hit, and news that he was headed to a local hospital for evaluation was an even worse sign. By his side at the hospital was his girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, who posted a picture with a positive update.
"Travis is okay," she wrote on an Instagram story. "Thank you for the prayers."

Let's dive into who Hunter's longtime girlfriend is.
Hunter and Lenee Have Lived in Three States Together
Hunter was originally born in West Palm Beach, Fla., but he played his prep ball at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga., where he presumably met Lenee. She also graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2022 and celebrated with an Instagram post.
The two told the story of how they met on their YouTube channel, which boasts more than 50,000 subscribers.
"I left him in my DMs for like two months," she said, adding that she friend-zoned him before a friend's birthday dinner brought them together. "He went with me and then we was in love."
The two have been together for at least a year, if their social media posts are any indication. In February, they both celebrated their anniversary, during which Lenee revealed they've lived in three different states together.
"You came into my life at the most unexpected time. I would constantly pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward so I can fulfill his plan for me. That he would give me motivation to continue, and you were his answer. You bring nothing but solidarity and peace into my life. You've showed me how to properly be loved, and even how to properly love, because God knows I tainted the definition. You are the most patient and passionate man I have ever met. No relationship is perfect, but we perfected the art of trying. We are living in our 3rd state together now, and this is a life I wouldn't want to share with anyone else. You are the greatest friend and partner I have ever had. I love you, sincerely and without limit. Happy anniversary baby, I pray God gives us many more years together," she wrote.

The two also shared that they talk about marriage all the time, but it doesn't seem like they're in a rush. They've already determined they're each other's fishing partner.
Hunter has a bright future ahead of him, and he appears primed to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Lenee said on their YouTube channel that she wants the Green Bay Packers to draft him, and he didn't seem opposed to that. However, the sophomore did say he plans on finishing college so he can be the first in his family to do so.
For now, the former Jackson State star is busy trying to get healthy to help Colorado win the Pac-12. The Buffaloes are the center of college football, and Hunter is a big reason why. Thankfully, he has a woman like Lenee by his side.
