As On3 says, "Colorado star Travis Hunter has inked an NIL deal with FreeForm Sports, joining the brand's Athlete Advisory Council. Through the deal, Hunter will provide input in product development and will release custom pads and wristbands for sale."
FreeForm Sports launched in 2022 and "creates products using 3D printing technology to create equipment that has been worn by athletes," as On3 says.
The gear is worn by Texas, Ohio State, TCU, and Colorado in practice and games.
"I love the look and feel of FreeForm Sports' athletic gear," Hunter said. "I am partnering with them so I can help shape the future of performance equipment."
In the season's final two games, Colorado wore FreeForm thigh pads against Washington State and Utah. The pads have "TH" on them and are now for sale for $60. In the 3D printing sector of the company, they've released wristbands that feature his logo and number. More players will join Hunter on the Athlete Advisory Council in 2024.
The Buffaloes finished the year 4-8 after starting 3-0. They defeated TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State before going 1-7 down the stretch, only defeating Arizona State.
Hunter had 57 catches on 73 receptions this past season for 721 yards and five scores in nine games. On defense, he allowed 30 receptions on 53 targets for 414 yards and five touchdowns.
This deal with FreeForm is the latest in the Hunter portfolio as he's also a featured athlete for SoHoodie, a product that produces one-size-fits-all hoodies. As part of his collection, he has hoodies that read "I'm Him" in black and gold.
Now, we look to Hunter's second season with the Buffaloes in 2024.
