Travis Kelce Has Bold Prediction For Deion Sanders

The Colorado Buffaloes finished 4-8 last season after starting 3-0, but if you were to ask Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce how the Buffaloes will do next year with head coach Deion Sanders, the answer might surprise you.

"Undefeated. I'm taking Prime every single time," the two-time Super Bowl winning tight end said about Prime's 2024 Buffaloes squad.

Of course, you can tell he wasn't super serious in his response and mostly just having fun, but still, we're not sure Kelce's prediction will come true.
As mentioned, the Buffaloes started 3-0 last season after defeating TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State. From there, they went 1-8, only beating Arizona State.

His son, Shedeur Sanders, was the starting quarterback for the team, was pressured nearly 200 times, and sacked about 50 times. He was left out of the season's final game against Utah due to multiple injuries.

However, the 4-8 record was an improvement from the Buffaloes in 2022 without Prime. They went 1-11 then, so there was a three-win increase. The Buffaloes are loading up for 2024 now, though. They've added numerous offensive linemen in the transfer portal to assist with keeping Shedeur upright. Their defense will also look to improve from last season.

If you weren't aware, the Buffaloes are leaving the Pac-12 and are headed to the Big 12. Funny enough, Kelce obviously wasn't aware because on October 26, 2024, the Buffaloes will host the Cincinnati Bearcats—the alma mater of Kelce.

Fans on X reacted to Kelce's prediction.

"This man did speak dating Taylor Swift, into existence," one user wrote.

"One of the only things I have agreed upon with Travis," another person said.

"So I guess I'll be cheering for the Chiefs now," another fan said.

Regardless of Kelce's prediction, we'll wait to see what else Coach Prime and his staff do to build off their 2023 campaign.
