Four-star OL Jarrett Patterson announces his final two

He's cut the list to two.

Jarrett Patterson, a four-star offensive line recruit who was previously committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils, has narrowed his new list down to just two.

For those who can't stomach the anticipation, those two programs are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the UCLA Bruins.

Patterson left his ASU commitment behind following the program's transition to Herm Edwards.

His father told 247Sports that the big man will have both UCLA and Notre Dame for in-home visits at the end of this week. Basically, those two programs have one last chance to impress the youngster with their glitz, glam and educational prowess.

The Michigan Wolverines were once in the running, but a few visits around the country later, and Patterson decided to cut Jim Harbaugh and company from his finalist list.

Patterson is a four-star talent, ranked No. 25 in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

For whatever it is worth, he actually visited UCLA last weekend.

Per the 247 report:

"UCLA head coach Chip Kelly and offensive line coach Hank Fraley will be in the Patterson home on Thursday.

The following day, Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly, area recruiter Brian Polian and offensive line coach Jeff Quinn, will have their final in-home with Patterson."

Both programs appear to be sending all the big guns. Hopefully he does not confuse one Kelly for another.
