Several schools are in the middle of a head coaching search and ESPN College GameDay correspondent Gene Wojciechowski says that another school might be looking for a head coach soon. As part of a segment on Friday's ESPNU broadcast heading into game day weekend, he said that Oregon head coach Willie Taggart might want out of Eugene despite being there only one year.

Taggart hasn't even coached an entire season yet with the Ducks and has led them to a 5-5 record so far. He came from USF last year where he brought the Bulls back to some prominence, which is one of the reasons he got the Oregon job in the first place. To leave after only a year at a place like Oregon seems pretty questionable and there may be things going on behind the scenes we don't know about.
However, it remains to be seen if Wojciechowski was really reporting that or just talking about something he might have heard. It will surely be something to keep an eye on with all the other coaching rumors going on and if he does leave Oregon he could be a good candidate elsewhere back in the southeast where he is more familiar on the recruiting trail.
