Four-star defensive end Cameron Latu has 17 offers including some from UCLA, Utah, Washington, BYU and Louisville among others. However, there are two schools in particular standing out to him that he is seriously considering as he told 247Sports.
The Salt Lake City (Utah) Olympus product took a visit to Tuscaloosa in January for Junior Day and even named the Tide as his leader. That didn't last long though as he named a second school in the running at The Opening in Dallas on Sunday.
"I really like USC right now," Latu said. "USC is closer to home, but Alabama is still up there. I'm still thinking about it."
He clarified that the two schools are his favorites right now and that Tosh Lupoi (Alabama coach) keeps in touch with him constantly to keep him up to date on things, Latu also said that he plans to head back east this spring or summer to check out Alabama again.
