Rosen had already missed the last two games, and it was previously speculated that he could miss the rest of the season due to the severity of the injury. UCLA will likely rely on senior Mike Fafaul for the remainder of 2016.
Rosen threw for 3,669 yards and 23 touchdowns in his freshman campaign last year, and many expected that he would transform into one of college football's top players with another season under his belt. Now we have to speculate on whether he will ever return to that form we saw in his freshman season, as nerve issues can be a very tricky injury to recover from.
