On Sunday, former Oregon State starting quarterback Marcus McMaryion announced that he would be transferring away from the school after he lost the starting job to transfer Jake Luton.
"After much thought, consideration, and discussion with my family I would like to announce that I am transferring from Oregon State," McMaryion said in a statement. "I want to thank the fans of Beaver Nation, the coaching and academic staff, and my teammates for a great three years."
McMaryion graduated in just three years, so he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
In his career with Oregon State, McMaryion started six games. As a sophomore last year, he had 1,286 passing yards and 10 touchdowns against just five interceptions.
