Five-star quarterback J.T. Daniels (6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Santa Ana, Ca.) is rated as the No. 1 pro-style quarterback and the No. 4 overall recruit for the 2019 class. On Saturday, Daniels narrowed down his recruitment greatly, as he named Washington, Michigan, Stanford, and USC as his four finalists.

Daniels also has offers from Alabama, Miami, and LSU, among others.
While the 2019 class seems far away, this is a big deal since Daniels is a quarterback and teams recruit quarterbacks differently on a year-to-year basis based on what they already have on their team. Daniels would figure to be the so-called "QB of the future" for any of these teams, and a commitment could greatly affect the recruiting plans of the coaches involved here.
