Tennessee is losing one QB to transfer this offseason

Tennessee will be losing a quarterback this offseason according to 247Sports. Freshman QB Sheriron Jones is transferring to Colorado. Per his high school coach Pete Duffy, Tennessee freshman quarterback Sheriron Jones has received his release, as first-reported by 247Sports.com.

Jones was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and took a redshirt this season with Josh Dobbs being the incumbent starter and Quinten Dormady getting the nod as the second QB on the depth chart. Jones will transfer later this month and have three more years of eligibility after sitting out this coming season per NCAA rules.
