College football has had an interesting last two decades or so, progressing from players being unable to accept anything monetarily from any source to now — as we can see from USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams — a penthouse from NIL (name/image/likeness) money.

As you can see in the tweet above, Williams sits at what is likely a kitchen island with a beautiful cotton candy sunset. Not so long ago, former USC running back Reggie Bush was stripped of his Heisman for receiving much less.

Bush won the Heisman in 2005, but was stripped of that in 2010 along with several USC bowl wins. Among the "gifts" Bush received was a limo ride to the Heisman ceremony. Today, Williams appears in Wendy's commercials.
Still, though, we have to be fair in that times were simply different.
Could the NCAA retroactively get Bush's Heisman Trophy reinstated?
Of course it could.
Most of the replies on the picture of Williams' penthouse involve Bush.
