On Friday, four-star wide receiver Drue Jackson (6-foot-1, 186 pounds, Sachse, TX) announced that he had committed to Washington State over Utah and Texas Tech.

Jackson explained why he picked the Cougs in an interview with Rivals.
"The deciding factor was when I finally got up there and it was just a perfect fit," Jackson said. "When I got to meet coach (Mike) Leach, it was like I knew him before I knew him. He had been sending me hand-written stuff, but him in-person is just like a whole different thing."
Jackson is Washington State's 20th commitment for their 2018 class, and he — as a Rivals four-star — is one of their highest-rated commits of the class.
