And just as the morning started, host Pat McAfee got the crowd riled up. At one point he had them screaming a not-so-family friendly phrase, which is referred to as the "Neck" chant.
It’s an ABSOLUTE HONOR to sit next to you Coach Saban..

McAfee said, "They told me if I came in front of these fantastic Tigers and I said, 'Heeeeyyyy-oooooo ...'"
Then what followed, parents had to cover their kids ears.
ESPN did not bleep out the fans chanting, "(Expletive) that Tiger (expleteive), (expletive)!"
McAfee then stated: "It's 8 a.m. I think they're ready to go. Let's have a day here. LSU-Alabama..."
In reference to the foul language, McAfee tried to defend himself, "I thought they were gonna say 'thick' like the humidity."
Nevertheless, he had the crowd chant it again.

McAfee talked about being in Louisiana.
"Ever since I started in this college football world, all I've been hearing from all the college folks is, 'Have you been to Death Valley? Have you been to Baton Rouge? Have you seen an LSU game? Do you know what college ball is all about?'"
"There is a wise man who said once that whenever there's a night game here in Baton Rouge, you can stand on the 50-yard line, you can actually smell the whiskey from 102,000 people."
In addition, the 2003 LSU national championship coach Nick Saban was introduced to the crowd. To point out, Saban also coached 17 years at Alabama, so he has affiliations to both of these powerhouse programs.
Earlier in the week the seven-time national champion talked about the rivalry upon arriving on campus.
"I appreciate having the opportunity, and I'm going to watch how you guys do," Saban said in a video shared by the LSU women's basketball team. "Because I still root for LSU, all the time. Except when they play Alabama."
Ultimately during the broadcast, Saban picked Alabama to win, saying he can't go against the players he recruited, but the rest of the College GameDay crew went with LSU to appease the crowd.
The guest panel also included LSU alumni MLB star pitcher Paul Skenes and his famous gymnast girlfriend Olivia Dunne.
LSU student-athlete Livvy Dunne mentioned, "I mean, a night game in Death Valley? There's only one right answer, and it's LSU."
In view of the matchup, No. 11 Alabama (6-2) will take on No. 14 LSU (6-2) in the SEC rivalry game that dates back to 1895. All-time the Crimson Tide is 56-27-5 vs. the Tigers.
Notably, this highly anticipated meeting has playoff implications, as the loser may find themselves out of the top 12 teams.
