Pissed off Art Briles has taken steps to make his Baylor divorce an ugly one

The gloves are officially off.

Baylor dismissed head coach Art Briles in late May, but the former head coach reportedly is accusing his former employer of wrongful termination, per AP:.

Related: Art Briles next step could be a shockingly familiar one

"Briles says he wants a judge to assign him new attorneys and his personal legal team is demanding that Baylor turn over all its files in the sexual assault scandal that has gripped the Baptist university for months.

The letter says Briles "does not wish to settle the case," contrary to what Baylor lawyers told the judge last week."

The school released a presser detailing the reasons the school took the steps it did.

Included, was a shocking few paragraphs that noted the football coaches and staff took steps to disclose the sexual assault or dating violence allegations, thus not allowing the University to take the proper steps. Because the coaches did this, it reportedly "discredited" complaints and denied the accusers a right to "a fair, impartial and informed investigation."

Before this one gets cleaned up, it appears it's only going to go downhill from here. And it certainly doesn't look like Briles will be brought back, or for that matter, wants to come back anytime soon.
