This particular college football game took place in Detroit at Ford Field on Thursday.

From the get-go, Toledo showed they meant business, taking the opening kickoff and marching down the field with an efficiency that left Pitt scrambling. The Rockets, displaying both speed and strategy, made their way to the Pitt 2-yard line. Facing a staunch Pittsburgh defense, Toledo was determined, converting on fourth down after three failed attempts at the goal line, to take an early 6-0 lead.

What transpired next was one for the record books; it's a play that doesn't come around often in college football. Pitt linebacker Kyle Louis, perhaps sensing an opportunity, leaped into action on the extra point attempt by Toledo.

Not only did he block the kick, but he also scooped up the loose ball, which, in a moment of sheer athleticism and opportunism, he returned all the way for two points. This rare feat gave Pittsburgh a chance to respond immediately to Toledo's opening score.

As the game progressed, both teams would have to adjust to this early shock. Toledo, having seen their lead cut to just four points from what could have been six, needed to regroup. Meanwhile, Pitt was rejuvenated, with Louis's play potentially serving as a catalyst for their defense.

As Steve DelVecchio of Larry Brown Sports wrote: "The PAT is typically automatic in college, but bowl season always has other plans. Pitt and Toledo were both 7-5 entering Thursday's game and looking to end their year on a high note. Louis certainly created a memory for himself."
