Police provide updates to previously missing Rivals reporter Courtney Roland

Just glad she's safe.

Houston police had provided more information about previously missing sports reporter Courtney Roland.

Roland, who covers Texas A&M for Rivals.com, went missing over the weekend. Luckily, police found her underneath an overpass on Monday night.

It had been reported that she had texted her roommate about a suspicious man she saw in Walgreens who followed her home, parking his blue truck behind her car in the driveway before later speeding off. Her Jeep Cherokee was found in a parking lot early Monday morning with her phone inside. Roland's iPad, computer and credit cards were also located.

Now the police have released some details about what happened when they found Roland.

"When our people were talking with her she seemed pretty confused about everything," police Lt. Manuel Cruz Jr. told reporters.

"We do not suspect any foul play or any kind of suspicious activity attached to this incident," Cruz said.

Roland was treated at a hospital following the incident. Correctly claiming privacy concerns, the family and police department haven't gone into great detail about how that process went. However, the family did put some brief words together that were shared via a media member's tweet.

Obviously, everyone is wishing her nothing but the best and a full recovery.
