Report: Ole Miss DE arrested for a domestic violence charge

Uh oh...

Ole Miss defensive end Charles Wiley was reportedly arrested on Monday afternoon for a domestic violence incident involving a female. Few details area available about the incident, but reports are that the female was also arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

HottyToddy.com first reported the story.

"We are aware of the situation and recognize the proper authorities responsible for the matter," said head coach Huge Freeze in a statement. "Charles is being withheld from all team activities while the process moves forward. We take incidents like this very seriously and will make decisions once the course of actions is complete."

The arrest is just one more thing that Freeze has to deal with. The football program is also dealing with potential NCAA violations that some believe could result in a postseason ban. No action has currently been taken against the school regarding those violations.

Wiley is a former four-star recruit who signed with the Rebels in February.
