Alabama hasn't hired a new offensive coordinator to replace Steve Sarkisian yet, but according to one ESPN analyst, you shouldn't expect much out of whom Nick Saban will bring on next.
In an interview on the Paul Finebaum Show, ESPN's Adam Rittenberg said that Alabama's next offensive coordinator will have a "lower profile than Lane Kiffin or Steve Sarkisian".
If that's true, that may hint at former Houston Texans and UCF offensive coordinator George Godsey being the leading candidate for the job. Godsey has reportedly interviewed for the job already, and he would certainly fit that "lower profile" mentioned by Rittenberg.
Chip Kelly is apparently uninterested in the job, and fellow former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich doesn't appear to be gaining any traction in recent reports, either. It looks like the Crimson Tide are really going under the radar with their next hire, and maybe that will suit them better after being spurned by Kiffin and Sarkisian.
