Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day is coming off of a national championship win, yet it was not a perfect season by any means, as the Buckeyes lost to their biggest rival Michigan for the fourth consecutive year.

That is, a young Wolverine fan reminded Day of this as he asked the Big 10 coach for a picture while spotting him downtown.
Day obliged as he thought it was just a simple photo request, but what he quickly found out is that the fan had ulterior motives, for he took a selfie video of himself next to the Ohio State coach, saying, "Go Blue baby, 4-0! 4-0, let's Go Blue baby!"

As Day was seen walking away, the fan shouted, "Woooo... Atta way, Ryan Day, extend him!"
In view of this, Day did win his first matchup vs. Michigan (56-27) back during the 2019-20 season, so he is technically 1-4. And from 2004-2020, Michigan had only beaten Ohio State one time.
With that being said, the last four years have been so disheartening to Buckeye fans, that many during the season called for Day to be fired.

In the words of legendary Ohio State coach Woody Hayes, "You can't claim a national championship without winning The Game. The only meaningful statistic is the number of times you beat Michigan."
