Usually when you hear about someone “taking a crap on the field”, it means someone — either a team or a player — didn’t play very well.

In terms of Saturday’s game between Army and Rice… it was very literally.

The start of the second quarter to the game was delayed several minutes, as one of Army’s live mules left a present on the field.

Well, that is the danger of having live mascots. At least the field got some fertilizer from this mishap.
