Alabama had quite a few players on the All-SEC offensive team released by AL.com and now the Crimson Tide has the talent to match on defense. Bama landed four players on the first-team defense led by defensive lineman Jonathan Allen and linebacker Reuben Foster. Tennessee's Derek Barnett made the list after recording 10 sacks last season, which was good for third in the conference and the super talented Myles Garrett also made the list after leading the SEC in sacks with 11.5 last season.

You'll likely notice a lack of Bulldogs both from Georgia and Mississippi State on the list. That shows how much work Hugh Freeze and Kirby Smart will have on their respective plates this coming season.
You could certainly make the argument for Cam Sutton to be on the first team for defense, but Jalen Tabor definitely has to be on that list, Armani Watts had 126 tackles, an interception and two forced fumbles while Jamal Adams and Eddie Jackson both had great seasons too.
But that's why this is only a preseason prediction. Sutton will have a chance to prove his worth for what is shaping up to be a much-improved year for the Vols and anything can happen during the season that might give him an opportunity to take one of those spots as well.
