It appears that Alabama defensive back Tony Brown is in more trouble than people initially thought.
According to Rivals.com, Brown is facing an indefinite suspension from the NCAA. Rivals does not specify what exactly Brown did to draw the ire of the NCAA, but they note that Brown apparently didn't break any school rules and that the school is appealing the decision.
Brown was sent home ahead of the Cotton Bowl against Michigan State for unnamed violations, but he was participating in spring practices.
Brown was a backup for the Crimson Tide in 2015, but he is still a former five-star recruit. He recorded 16 total tackles, two pass break ups, and a forced fumble in the 2015 season before being sent home before the College Football Playoff.
