Alabama defenders admit that one of their best opponents wasn't from the Power 5

That's a pretty big surprise.

Alabama played some pretty great teams this season considering they played a full SEC slate and started the season against USC in Dallas. Of course, Alabama also played Washington in the Peach Bowl last week, which featured some offensive players who are likely to go pro.

However, two defensive monsters for the Crimson Tide say that the best player they faced was actually a member of a Group of Five school.

Alabama still beat Western Kentucky 38-10, but that's a pretty big compliment from two guys who are going to get drafted early when they go pro. Lamp is considered a pro as well and a second or third-round pick at that. Anderson still managed to record 1.5 tackles for loss and a half-sack when he played the Hilltoppers.
