Freddie Roach was a former All-SEC linebacker for the Crimson Tide from 2002 to 2005 and has been on the staff the past couple seasons as director of player development. It looks like he will be jumping ship to another SEC school now though:

He previously coached at South Alabama as the outside linebackers and defensive ends coach. He will be replacing Tray Scott who jumped over to Georgia after being on the job only one month. Meanwhile, Ole Miss was in the bottom top 10 of rushing defenses in all of college football so Roach has a lot of improvement for the Rebels.
