This is one of the last things you want to hear about a player.

According to AL.com, Alabama cornerback Bradley Sylve tore an Achilles tendon on Tuesday while preparing for Alabama's Pro Day on Wednesday. Sylve was apparently just warming up when the injury occurred.
Sylve played mostly as a reserve in 2016, only registering 15 total tackles on the year. Sylve did get a lot of time playing on special teams, though, as his 4.38 40-time at the NFL Combine two weeks ago definitely piqued the interest of NFL teams.
An Achilles injury can be one of the most devastating injuries in sports. Thankfully, advances in medical techniques over the past 15 years has helped some players return to form, including Denver wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. Hopefully Sylve is able to recover, allowing him a proper shot at a making an NFL team in the future.
