Former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims hasn't quite latched on with an NFL team and has even been acting as a scout player for his former squad this season during practices. It looks like he'll have the chance to act as a scout player on the next level though as he's been signed to an NFL practice squad.

Sims had been signed to Atlanta's practice squad earlier in the season, but was let go. Now he's got a job at least for another week with the Bucs heading into the last game of the regular season. Sims changed his position to running back from quarterback in hopes of being able to get into the NFL and it looks like it might be paying off.
