Four-star athlete Brandon Turnage (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) announced his commitment to Alabama on Friday via Twitter.

"I like how they coach," Turnage told Bama Online last summer when the Tide offered at camp. "They're some real hard coaches. They make sure you get it understood, but they also aren't going to sit there and wait on you to get it right. They're going to move on."
Turnage chose Alabama over Georgia, Ole Miss and LSU, having earned 18 total scholarship offers.
The Oxford native ranks as the No. 9 athlete, No. 6 player from Mississippi and the No. 99 overall prospect for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Tide currently has six total commitments for its 2019 recruiting class, which ranks second nationally behind Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite Team rankings.
