Well this is interesting to say the least. According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, former Oregon and Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly met with Alabama earlier this week.
At this time, it is unknown what such a meeting could have been about. There have been rumors all year that Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin could be leaving after the season in search for a grander job. Could Kelly be his potential replacement? That much is left to been seen.
It is also possible that this meeting was absolutely nothing in terms of job searching. Coaches meet all the time in the offseason, and this simply could have been that.
Kelly was fired from Philadelphia a week ago after a disappointing season. Many had welcomed the firing, as players and officials in the organization lamented Kelly's increasing influencing in personnel decisions.
