Nick Saban has had unparalleled success at Alabama, but several NFL teams have gauged his interest recently. Radio host Paul Finebaum thinks Saban might get tired of coaching at Alabama at some point and give the NFL another try.

"I think Saban, at some point, will just get bored with all this," Finebaum said. "Had he won last year, that would have been six national championships—five in eight years. And listen, everyone loves to win. Everyone loves to be successful. But Nick Saban has been at Alabama 10 years now and I've wondered why he hasn't left previously.
"I think he's waiting for the right opportunity where someone says, 'OK, coach. We have a quarterback. You have a piece of the franchise. You're making eight or nine million dollars now, but you'll be making so much money you'll never have to give money a second thought."
Finebaum also cited how Alabama has a new athletics director in Greg Byrne, and Saban might not enjoy reporting to Byrne if Byrne wants the power in Tuscaloosa.
Saban's previous tenure in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins didn't go so well. He was 15-17 in two seasons in Miami before leaving for Alabama.
