Alabama wide receiver dismissed following arrest Tuscaloosa County Sheriff

Alabama wide receiver Donnie Lee Jr. was arrested on Thursday in Tuscaloosa on a charge of domestic violence.

Alabama has since dismissed Lee from the program, releasing this statement from head coach Nick Saban:

“Donnie Lee Jr., a walk-on who has not be participating in team activities since a knee injury in August, has been dismissed from our football team and is no longer part of our program. This behavior will not be tolerated from anyone and is not representative of our football program.”

Lee has since been released on a $1,000 bond.
