Elite 6'6" TE decommits from Texas, reportedly believed to be leaning toward this powerhouse

This could be a huge move in more ways than one.

Elite tight end Major Tennison officially decommitted from Texas on Friday, just one week before he visits his now apparent favorite, Alabama:

According to SEC Country, Alabama's recruitment of Tennison has picked up as the team's top tight end target:

"One source close to the Alabama program told SEC Country that the recruitment of Tennison has picked up so much so that he's now believed to be the top tight end target for the Crimson Tide."

Per the report, Tennison's brother is trying to flip the massive tight end to Florida instead.

Tennison is a 6'6", 240-pound recruit would be the Tide's first tight end commit in the 2017 class. Current standout O.J. Howard is expected to jump to the NFL after finishing his final season at Alabama this year.
