Lane Kiffin never seems to stop entertaining the college football world with his antics and, on Thanksgiving Day, the FAU head coach got back to his old tricks. Earlier in the season, Alabama head coach (and former Kiffin boss) Nick Saban launched into an amusing rant about "rat poison" from the media and, since then, Kiffin has taken a few opportunities to take shots at Saban because of that particular issue.
This time around, Kiffin screen-shotted an ESPN projection of FAU entering this week's game against Charlotte as a substantial favorite and he used a particular hashtag.
Just one moment later, Kiffin followed that up with a picture of a dead rat and a special message for those players that may want to come to FAU... or not come.
Saban likely does not follow Kiffin's Twitter feed on a regular basis but it is probably a safe bet to indicate that someone on his staff (or close to him) will see these tweets and pass them along. Because of who the messenger is, it seems doubtful that Saban will use this particular thing as any sort of direct motivation but, down the line, he just might "remember" what Kiffin keeps saying on social media.
