Former Bama star, likely top pick just admitted to multiple failed drug tests

Is he serious?

Alabama has a few guys in this year's NFL Draft class that could go in the first round including Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, Cam Robinson, O.J. Howard and Tim Williams. The last of those guys might have just seriously damaged his chances of landing in the first round with recent comments he made at the NFL Combine.

While teams had known about Williams' issues, he just admitted publicly that he had failed multiple drug tests in his four years at Alabama. After admitting his past mistakes, Williams did sound  pretty mature in that he knew he had to be honest with teams because they would find out one way or another.

"I'm going in and being completely honest. This is a billion-dollar industry. They've got all their homework and they know everything about you. You can't go in there and just be dishonest, because a first impression is a last impression.

"So far they've respected me for that."

Williams was never suspended for the failed tests, but was suspended for the first half of a game because a gun charge back in September. According to Yahoo's Shutdown Corner, teams are not concerned that Williams will become the next Randy Gregory with drug problems. However, they will do their due diligence and make sure he is fully vetted before they draft him.
